How Unadvertised handles the information you give us, in plain English. Unadvertised is in beta, and we'll update this page as the service develops.
Last updated: 23 October 2026. This summary describes how the service currently works. A few details, marked "being confirmed", are still being checked with our providers.
Who we are
Unadvertised (unadvertised.uk) helps you create and share pitch pages. For any privacy question, email support@unadvertised.uk.
Your email address and account
You don't need an account to write a pitch or use the Coach. You sign in only when you publish, recover your pages on another device or save to My experience. Sign-in works by emailing you a one-time code; we don't use passwords.
We keep your email address to sign you in, link your published pages to you and keep My experience private to you. It isn't shown on your pitch pages.
Pitch pages, uploads, links and QR codes
When you click "Preview your page", your pitch is saved to our database as a private draft, together with any photos, videos, PDFs or logos you add. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and shown through short-lived links. Background images you choose for a video recording stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Nothing is public until you publish. Once published, anyone with the link can view your page, including people it's forwarded to, and anything you've written on it — including contact details. Your QR code simply contains your public link; it's created in your browser and we don't track scans. Edits to a live page appear only after you publish again. You can unpublish at any time.
Your private edit link and this device
Each page has a private edit link. This browser remembers it so you can find your pages in My pitch pages. Anyone with that link, or using this browser, can edit the page — keep it to yourself.
Signing out doesn't remove pages remembered by this browser. On a shared computer, use a private browsing window.
What your browser keeps
To stop you losing work, some things are stored only in your own browser, not on our servers:
- Until you close the tab: everything you enter in the Coach (company, role, job description, experience, notes), its drafts, refinements and Quippy's ideas, and text for a new page you haven't saved yet.
- Until you clear your browser data: the private edit links for your pages, a copy of text you're editing on a saved page, the name you last used, your video talking points and your sign-in session.
Your Job Pitch Coach and Quippy
When you ask for ideas, a draft or a refinement, what you've entered passes through our server to our AI service to generate suggestions. The same applies when you ask the AI to build slides or video talking points. We don't save these requests or the AI's replies in our database; the results come back to your browser.
These features request OpenAI models through Lovable's AI gateway. We send a setting asking OpenAI not to save the response as conversation history; this does not turn off all provider logs or retention. Please avoid including sensitive personal information, such as health details, in what you send. The provider policies and remaining checks are explained below.
My experience
If you're signed in, you can save experience entries (for example, your CV or work history) to reuse later. They're stored in our database, linked to your account and only accessible to you. They never appear on your pitch pages unless you copy text into a page yourself. You can edit or delete each entry at any time from My pitch pages.
Where your information is processed
- Lovable Cloud: provides our website hosting, database, file storage, sign-in and sign-in emails. Pitch records and saved My experience entries use this database; uploaded photos, videos, PDFs and logos use private file storage. Project connection information identifies the database region as Europe, AWS Ireland (
eu-west-1). Confirmation that this also covers uploaded files and sign-in records, and the locations of backups and service logs, is being confirmed. - Lovable AI gateway and OpenAI: handle the information you submit for Coach suggestions, Quippy ideas, slides and video talking points, and the generated replies. The application requests OpenAI models and does not select another AI model provider. AI requests may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States; the actual processing locations, any other processors involved and Lovable's gateway-log retention are being confirmed.
- Cloudflare: the website is configured for Cloudflare Workers, which handle requests through a distributed global network. A request may be processed outside the UK or outside the database region. This delivery network is separate from the location where database records and uploaded files are stored; project-specific regional restrictions and logging locations are being confirmed.
AI training and retention. OpenAI's published API policy says inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default, unless the customer explicitly opts in. We still need confirmation of the settings that apply to Lovable's account. Under OpenAI's standard API policy, abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts and replies and are generally retained for up to 30 days, with exceptions for legal requirements or protecting its services and others from harm. Separate storage rules depend on the feature and settings used. This is not a promise that all AI data is deleted after 30 days or that no one can review it.
Transfers outside the UK. Storage location, the places where information is processed and a provider's headquarters are different things. Lovable is based in Sweden, but a European company or database does not, on its own, mean all information stays in Europe. Lovable's and Cloudflare's published data-processing agreements include standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum for relevant UK transfers. The agreements and safeguards that actually cover Unadvertised through Lovable are being confirmed.
We have not confirmed that the relevant OpenAI recipient and transfer are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We will not rely on that framework in this policy without checking the recipient's current eligibility and the applicable contractual arrangement.
Provider information:
How long we keep information, and deleting it
- Pitch pages: kept until you delete them. Deleting a page from the editor or My pitch pages removes its text and uploaded files straight away.
- My experience: kept until you delete an entry.
- Publication records: when a tailored page is first published, we keep a record so the five free tailored pages are counted fairly. This record stays even if the page is later deleted. How long it's kept is being confirmed.
- Your account: there isn't a delete-account button yet. To ask for your account and associated information to be deleted, email support@unadvertised.uk from the address you sign in with. We'll tell you what has been deleted and anything we need to keep, such as publication records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email support@unadvertised.uk. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
